Maggie Stein creates lino prints which respond to the heritage and grittiness of inner West Sydney. This collection explores recently closed and long running businesses and the traders behind them.

About Maggie
Originally from Goulburn, Maggie has been living a creative life for over 30 years, currently residing in Sydney’s inner west.
She has exhibited widely, is a passionate art educator, has sold many pieces through exhibition and commission and won several awards.
In 2019 Maggie was awarded the People’s Choice in The Blue Mountains Print Prize and the Urban Edge Art Award ( run by Inner West Council).
Her original lino prints are created in her Marrickville studio; all are printed by hand with archival inks and printed on acid neutral papers of Japanese and European origin.
