An invitation to share 12 Photographic Impressions by Bob Kersey
Wednesday, 8th July to Sunday, 12th July 2020.
In My Solitude – a search for personal meaning in a place I call home.
In the vacuum created by the isolation of lockdown, Bob Kersey has chosen to interpret the very place he has called home for the last 20 years. Working close and challenging the dynamic response of Kodak’s re-release of Ektachrome, these cotton rag photographs “reach out” to us.
His approach is to re-invent the subject in an emotional way as distinct from a literal record of landscape. And, rare for me, work in colour.
Although the social distancing restrictions preclude a celebratory “opening”, Bob will be at the gallery each day to meet visitors and to discuss his works (perhaps over a glass or two).
Open daily from 11am to 4pm, or by appointment.
