Artist’s Statement
I have been drawing and painting all my life in a variety of styles and media.
In this phase of my career, I’m renewing my focus on capturing the essence of the places I love in and around Sydney and its environs.
I am particularly interested in capturing places and people. I think landscapes are informed by the people in them, going about their daily life in the places they love.
I work mainly in oil on canvas and my style is a contemporary blend of impressionist and expressionist.
