Sew Long and Thanks for all the Fish

A fabulously absurd fashion rebellion stitched from society’s leftovers — Sew Long and Thanks for All the Fish turns the preloved and once disposable into glorious spectacle, while unpicking the seams of overconsumption and environmental collapse.

Multi-disciplinary artists and couturiers Julie Parkin and Martin Sims are presenting their wildly flamboyant ‘winter collection’ at The Corner Gallery in Stanmore.

Supported by Photo media artists Liam and Mark Denny, this exhibition will present viewers with a collection of garments that will surprise and delight. Expect the unexpected, be intrigued and inspired as these artists encourage you to look at the familiar in a brand-new light.

The exhibition dates are :

Wednesday July 30 until Sunday August 3.

5 days only, so don’t miss out.

The Corner Gallery will be open each day from 11 – 5 pm.
