ABOUT THE ARTIST
Trenton Shipley Is Based In Sydney, Australia. His lyrical, figurative; expressionist contemporary paintings are brought to life with oil on canvas. The abstract paintings ask a myriad of questions and attempt to provide a tangible response to a highly fluid subjective world. In a visceral fashion these colourful modern artworks seek to reconcile the bias of words as an exclusive form of interaction and suggest an alternate mode.
An emotional approach has been employed exploring states of denial, grief, euphoria and grace. The oil paintings signify our emotional fabric as people in a universal manner. The viewer is encouraged to rest into these expressionistic paintings with quiet eyes and welcome sensorial answers.
